Great Hearts Summer Programs 2025
June 2-27, 2025
Summer Programs at Roosevelt include Summer Camp for any student entering Grades 1st-5th in Fall 2025, including those on the Great Hearts waitlist and Kinder Readiness for new, incoming Kindergarteners. With a unique curriculum each week, whether you register for one week, or all four, it is bound to be an experience to remember!

Summer Camp: Great Camps for Great Hearts
Action-packed, weekly, themed camps are designed to keep campers engaged during the summer while making lasting memories with their friends. Campers will compete in crazy camp games, sing silly campfire songs, and enjoy engaging activities.
It’s a traditional summer camp experience with a classical twist!

- Program Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM | Drop-off begins at 7:30 AM
- There are no programs on June 19th. All academies will be closed June 19th in observance of the Juneteenth holiday.
- Grades: Students entering Grades 1st-5th in Fall 2025
- Pricing: $250/week/scholar. $35 non-refundable registration fee required; includes a Summer shirt.
- No refunds after May 1st, 2025.
- $15 change fee per camp.
- 10% Sibling Discount: Save 10% when ALL weeks of camps for ALL children are purchased in the SAME, single transaction.

2025 Weekly Camp Themes:
🌎 Week 1 (June 2-6) Exploration Station: Discover the magic of nature at Exploration Station! This week, campers will journey through the Arctic, wetlands, coral reefs, rainforests, and mountains. They will explore how animals and plant life survive in these often harsh and dangerous, wild environments.
🔨 Week 2 (June 9-13) DIY Maker’s Workshop: Spark your child’s creativity with DIY Maker’s Workshop! This week will bring out the inner maker in campers as they master the art of do-it-yourself projects. Campers will learn DIY skills as they experience crafting, creating sensory experiences, garden décor, home goods, and more!
🕰️ Week 3 (June 16-20) Time Trekkers: *NO Camp on June 19th* Campers will be transformed into Time Trekkers as they are transported through the ages. They will experience history firsthand as they explore Prehistoric times, the Middle Ages, the Roaring 20s, and even the future through exciting and engaging activities.
🎪 Week 4 (June 23-27) Circus Spectacular: Step right up to Circus Spectacular! Learn how to spark joy in this vibrant, fun-filled week. Campers will create costumes, perform acts, play circus games, learn magic tricks and more!

Kinder Readiness: A Great Start for Great Hearts
Grades: For Incoming Kinder (and Wait-Listed Kinder) Students Only
Students must be at least 4 years old and fully potty-trained.
Unique Weekly Programs: June 2-27, 2025 *NO Kinder Readiness on June 19th*
Space is limited! We highly suggest registering early to reserve your space.Kinder Readiness is designed to help incoming Kindergarten students build confidence and feel prepared to start school in the Fall.
They will be introduced to the Great Hearts curriculum, the academy teachers, and make new friends. Scholars will practice the skills needed in Kindergarten through a unique curriculum each week. You will see their confidence and excitement for Kindergarten grow with each week of Kinder Readiness!

Q. Do Summer Programs provide lunch and/or snack?
No. We ask that you pack your scholar a lunch and snack(s) for all Summer Programs.
Q. What is the dress code for Summer Programs?
DRESS CODE: Our Summer Camp dress policy is different from our regular academy dress code:
SHIRTS: Students may wear any Great Hearts Summer shirt, academy spirit shirt, academy athletic shirt or any appropriate t-shirt. Graphic t-shirts, shirts with references to pop-culture, and tank tops are not acceptable.
SHORTS: Students may wear plain, logo-free, uniform-style shorts. They may also wear plain, athletic-style shorts. All shorts must reach mid-thigh and cannot be form fitting (no bike shorts or gymnastic apparel). Uniform pants are allowed.
FOOTWEAR: Students may wear closed-toed tennis shoes. Shoes that make noise, shoes that light up, and open-toed shoes are NOT permitted.
Students in violation of the dress code will not be permitted to participate in the program and parents will be called to pick up or drop clothes off.
Q. What if my summer plans change? Can I get a refund?
Camp fees are refundable until May 1st. Registration fees are not refundable. No refunds will be issued after May 1st. Any refunds issued before May 1st will be less registration fees. There is a $15 fee for changing camp dates.
